Tuition Agreement
Please read carefully before sign this Agreement.
The Tuition Payment Agreement is a contract between the STUDENT and Aston International Academy (hereafter “AIA”). The STUDENT may not register or attend classes at AIA without having first signed and returned this agreement.
The signatory to this contract agrees to be the RESPONSIBLE BILLING PARTY and agrees to be the guarantor of all tuition payments and other fees due to AIA, irrespective of the person who is billed. The STUDENT shall be considered the responsible party for all tuition and fee payments that are due to AIA, as the STUDENT is the only person to whom AIA owes contractual obligations.
Tuition Payment Terms for New and Returning Students:
The first payment for new students or students who have changed levels will be $1,000 USD plus the cost of books, according to the student’s level and the number of books required for the new session. The first month’s tuition will be automatically debited immediately upon registration, and subsequent monthly payments will always be automatically debited on the first day of each month. Students may only attend classes after tuition payment has been completed.
Monthly Tuition for F-1 Visa Students:
International students holding an F-1 visa will be charged a fixed monthly tuition of $1,000 USD, regardless of the number of weeks in the month (3, 4, or 5 weeks), holidays, or breaks.
Academic Terms and Tuition Responsibility:
The STUDENT must notify AIA at least fifteen (15) days in advance before completing an academic term if they intend to transfer to another school or complete their program.
By signing this contract, the STUDENT agrees to pay the monthly tuition for each registered academic term (6 months). Credit/debit cards that are blocked after a contract breach are subject to judicial collection through the Court of Travis County, Texas.
The Monthly Payment Plan is a privilege and may be revoked if there is cause to do so. Under either payment plan, all payments/installments are due and payable in full upon receipt of each invoice. Monthly payments are prepaid.
Delinquent accounts are subject to a late charge of one percent (1%) of the past-due amount for each day the account remains unpaid. Additionally, any past-due charges from a previous session or academic term must be paid before registering for and attending classes in the next session or academic term. If an invoice is only partially paid, the late fee will be added to the next invoice.
If a student on an F-1 visa fails to make a payment, they will be notified that they have no more than seven (7) calendar days to submit payment before their F-1 visa is terminated for non-payment and failure to maintain status.
By signing this Tuition Payment Agreement, the STUDENT (and, if applicable, the RESPONSIBLE BILLING PARTY) agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs, including reasonable attorney fees and/or collection agency fees that are incurred during the recovery of payments for any delinquent accounts. In the event of withdrawal from AIA, refunds shall be made in accordance with the policy stated on the official AIA website.
Credit/Debit Card Confidentiality:
All credit/debit card information provided under this agreement is considered confidential and will be securely maintained by AIA. Such information will be used solely for the purpose of processing monthly tuition and materials payments. In the event that a student’s credit/debit card information is proven to have been unlawfully disclosed from AIA’s premises and used for unauthorized purposes, AIA shall be fully responsible for all applicable legal damages incurred by the STUDENT.
