What level of English do you identify with?
Intro: I have never studied English.
Beginner: I know a little English.
Pre-intermediate: I can go shopping and order at restaurants in an English-speaking country, and maybe talk about my daily routines
Lower Intermediate: When I hear information about something new, I can respond with my opinions and give reasons for those opinions.
Upper Intermediate: I can read light novels in English without looking up many words and I can hold long conversations with native speakers about complex topics.
Advanced: I can understand and make jokes in English, understand and use slang effectively, and I can typically identify the difference between a word or expression that would be used in a formal context versus a word or expression that would be used in an informal context.
