What makes Austin so special: Austin is the capital of Texas and one of the most exciting cities in the United States. It is an incredible city to visit, and even better to live in! It is small enough to be comfortable, but big enough to offer everything a bigger city does: museums, movies, excellent restaurants, nightlife, festivals of all kinds, a variety of outdoor activities, and several world-class universities. The sun always seems to be out in Austin! We average over 300 days of sunshine a year. The summers are pretty hot, but our winters are mild.
